Why Coworking Beats Working From Home
Kamakshi Kamath

World class facilities, great people to work around, a professional space where you can work at your convenience - it’s a huge all-in-one deal!
There are plenty of reasons why working from home isn’t so appealing anymore, and the concept of coworking has become as popular as it is today.
For one, you don’t have to put your mind into your office needs.
Coworking spaces do that for you. From stationery and office equipment to snacks and beverages, coworking spaces make sure they’re well-stocked. All you’ll have to think of is growing your business.
But when you work from home, you’ll have to take care of everything yourself. Why would you want to do that, when there’s something that makes life absolutely hassle-free?
You get to work in an environment that inspires you.
When was the last time you worked from home thinking, “Wow, this place really inspires me!”?
You don’t have to answer that.
While working from home does have its advantages, coworking is far better because it gives you the perfect ambience to work in. Most coworking spaces are designed to cater to a variety of workers and their preferences. It’s one huge place with a wide variety of working zones. And you don’t have to get tied down anywhere!
You feel more connected to the world around you.
We’ve spoken to hundreds of professionals who say that, after long periods of working from home, they tend to lose their social skills, their knowledge of the world around them, their love for the outdoors, and in general, their passion for various facets of their life.
Coworking solves that problem. You get to interact with a variety of people, usually like-minded. So there’s no need to worry about sharpening your social skills!
You will network your way into building a support system.
Meeting fellow professionals and working in the same space as them increases your chances of building professionally beneficial relationships and climbing up the ladder.
But when you work from home? You have to run around (or worse, resort to the internet) to find people who can support you in your business.
You get to attend fun, interesting and insightful events.
Working at a coworking space is eventful, literally! There are engaging and exciting things coming up every week, so there is always something to look forward to. There is so much you can learn if you attend the events that go on in a coworking space.
When you’re working from home, the max you can do is watch a few ted-talks and feel like a whole new person with a renewed purpose in life. Not as fun, trust us.
You have a professional address to show off.
Add some sophistication to your business and give it a brand value. Instead of showing your clients that you work from home, you can have a professional space to meet them and receive all their couriers and communications.
That kind of impression truly counts.
Home will be home. Home, sweet home.
Reclaim your space. Work should be where it belongs.
Keep all your office stuff and work tension well away from home. After all, a home should be a place where you feel relaxed and absolutely comfortable. Let’s keep it that way.
